The MG Princess was launched in America, 154 cars were sold.

Crayford announced that they would be carrying out an ADO16 conversion calling it an estate.

The Wolseley 1100 launched. Mechanically and internally similar to the similar MG 1100.

Riley Kestrel launched. Mechanically similar to the MG/Wolseley 1100. Fitted with walnut veneer dashboard and a rev counter.

Austin and Morris versions became available with a four speed automatic transmission.

Creech Motors in Somerset announced they would carry out a conversion called the Mystique. Briefly, this conversion included modifying the rear to create a hatchback.
